ooey gooey camp is here + ice cream play dough

It's summertime and that means it's time for summer camp! Summer camp is in full swing at Art Paper Scissors with ooey gooey as the theme! Today the campers got to get their hands dirty with some sweet ice cream play dough!

Ice cream play dough is super easy and perfect for summer! All you need is:

- 1 cup of pre-made frosting
- 2 3/4c powdered sugar

Mix a cup of frosting into a bowl and add the powdered sugar gradually as you mix everything together. A hand mixer works well! Depending on the consistency of the frosting you use, you may need to add more or less powdered sugar. If the dough seems sticky, add more sugar until it turns into a dough-like consistency that doesn't stick to your hands.

We had fun designing our own cakes at the studio! Before playing with it, we all tasted it -- just a little! -- and then proceeded to create adding embellishments like beads, sprinkles, colored straws. We even added a candle or two!
